Payment

The Big Apple Costume Company accepts payments through Paypal. Big Apple also accepts domestic money orders and certified checks. We do not accept International Money Orders of any kind. Please do not send them. If you choose to send cash, please be advised that Big Apple can not be responsibe for cash lost in transit.

Fees

State Tax in only charged for residents of New York. Big Apple Costumes prefers to ship through the United States Post Office although FedEx, DHL and UPS are also available. All shipping charges are estimated. Handling and tracking charges are included in the prices you receive. We will work with you on shipping prices for combined orders. We are Customer Friendly!

Please understand Big Apple is an electronic system which depends on the healthy functioning of this site, Paypal, Mailing Services and your email ISP working together correctly. At times, these Service Providers have technical problems that interfere with our transactions. Service Provider technical issues are out of our control. Sites go down, electonics hiccup, and with the current use of your SPAM controls, email gets blocked. It is our experience that any combo of these things can happen to anyone using and Internet system. Always contact us FIRST and immediately if you have a problem with your order. We will hunt down the problem and do our best for you. IHC is 100% committed to your support throughout the proccessing and delivery of your transaction.

Policies

• Payment must be received within 10 days of the end of the sale.
• Shipping costs are estimated and dependent on zip code location, size and weight of packages and how soon you want them.
• All books will be shipped media mail unless buyer otherwise specifies.
• All jewelry, clothing and gift items will be shipped Priority Mail, U.S. Post Office unless otherwize specified by the customer. Third party shipping is acceptable.

Money Order/Cashiers Checks: 

• All money orders and cashier's checks are made out to Big Apple Costume Company, Inc. Please state your item number and the title of the item on your check! Pop in a note which also includes your auction or item number, real name, shipping address and screen name to avoid confusion!
• No International Money Orders will be accepted unless the face of the Money Order has the name and address of a bank in the USA.
• Postal Money Orders must be in US dollars

Returns
Due to current Heath Issues around the World, IHC has a General Policy not to accept returns on wearable items. For the same contagion reasons, we do not sell Used or "Tried On" items. However, we do make some exceptions for returns during the non Holiday Season. If you have a problem, please contact us by email FIRST and within 3 days of receipt of your item, to discuss the possibility of an RMA number. We will always try to help!
