This stunning Native Amerian style Breastplate is a version of the costume Breastplate worn by the character "Wind In His Hair" (Rodney Grant) in the Kevin Costner movie, Dances with Wolves...

The main area of our Breastplate or Chest Bib measures 4.5" wide X 8.5" long. It is designed with alternating rows of trading beads and faux hairpipe accented with Tan Leather Lacing. Each hairpipe is 1.5 inches long. At the top, there are 4 short rows of Hairpipes on each edge of the piece.

At each end of the Hairpipes are 1/8" Brown woodtone trading beads. Separating the center rows of faux Hairpipes are Silvertone Trading Beads. Hanging from the bottom are lacings trimed with little multi-colored feathers.

This piece is stunning as a Nastive American costume accessory, a PowWow Dance Breastplate and just as striking as a decorative wall mount... Either way, this piece is bound to bring lots of conversation!
